Good Start

I was glad to see two posts already up on to the new blog this weekend. Keep up the good work and we'll have to try to get more people involved. I wish I had a good suggestion for you Kurt, but don't really. I know you hated it at the time, but aren't you glad you took that accounting course now? I personally use yahoo finance to look into those types of things, but a book that went more into investing is something I would definitely read. I hope more people I've invited to write in the blog will make suggestions as I know some of them are more qualified to make suggestions on that. Also, thanks to Grant for posting some music ideas. These are the types of things I was hoping for, so I hope we'll have lots more posts.
Finally, I was going to ask people to suggest websites they use at work in their spare time. I know some of us have more than others. I use espn.com the most, especially articles written under page2. I look periodically at rottentomatos.com for movie news and reviews, and read yahoo and cnn for news updates. I wanted to see what everyone else has found and looks at when passing time (especially at work).

I did hate that accounting class, but I find a lot of that stuff useful now. I actually e-mailed the teacher with a question last year. There is an accounting for lawyers that I might take sometime. I've got income tax now and we use a lot of that sort os stuff. I will try to come up with some other good stuff.
